BBQKees Electronics' EMS Gateways boards can be installed with the latest EMS-ESP firmware when connected directly to your computer. The existing settings and configuration will be preserved.
To use, select the Gateway model below, plug in a USB-C cable as indicated in the picture, connect this to your computer and click on the Connect button.
If you are unsure which version of the EMS-ESP firmware is currently installed, you can check this via the Console. Click on the Connect button, choose "Open Console" from the options and the serial console will be displayed. Now type show system and press the Enter key.
Note: The firmware release is also compatible with any ESP32's that match the same chip type (ESP32S or ESP32-S3) and memory profile (16MB flash with additional PSRAM).

The Gateway S3 is WiFi only and uses an ESP32-S3 dual-core with 16MB Flash + 8MB PSRAM.
